Information for Cross-overs

If you have a dive qualification from an awarding body other than CMAS (PADI etc.), to dive with UCD, there are a number of lectures you must attend and open water dives to do to 'cross over' to CMAS. When these are completed you will receive a CMAS cert from the Irish Underwater Council (CFT) and you are ready to dive with UCD - see www.cft.ie for more details.

Divers wishing to crossover to CMAS and join UCD should sign up at the sports expo or email me (jennynimhurchu@yahoo.com)
there will be a weekend away on October or November for all crossover candidates. This will encompass lectures, snorkels and dives (weather and time permitting of course!)
After that crossovers will be able to engage in all club diving activities.
