Sponsor Our Snorkel – RNLI S.O.S. Day

On 31^st January, 9 hardy members of UCD SubAqua braved the elements and took to the water to snorkel (against the current!) from Bulloch Harbour to Sandycove Beach, raising almost €1000 for their club and the RNLI.

S.O.S. Day is a UK-and-Ireland-wide RNLI fundraising event which takes place at the end of January each year - anyone can get involved and organise an event. Dublin events this year ranged from "Salsa On Saturday" and "Sample Our Sponges" to "Sailors On Saddles"!

We would like to thank everyone who kindly supported us, including shore-marshals, soup-makers and sponsors. Hopefully we can make it an annual event!
