The AGM was held last night and a new committee was elected. The minutes of the meeting will be posted in the members' only section of the website, as usual (this might take a few days).

The Diver of the Year cup was awarded to Anna Boch, in recognition of her dedication to diving and to theclub over the last year.

The AGM is tonight at 7.30 pm in G15 ('the Bin') in the Ag Building.

I'll be selling DVDs with club's photo gallery from 2001-2008 at the AGM. The price is EUR10, the money will go to the club (minus the cost of empty DVDs).

What you get:

• 1 DVD with all the photos from club's events in the original size they were uploaded with (not the small you usually look at at the website). Large originals allow decent quality printing.
• photo viewing software

What you won't get:

• photos from member's gallery.
• comments left on the photographs on the website

Hi folks,  

Time to get water fit! Snorkelling will start again properly this Sunday (20th) so get your insurance sorted if you haven't already, dust off those wet suits, and adjust your weight belt for snorkelling fun! Get in contact with your weekly snorkel coordinator to join in.  Pool sessions are starting again tomorrow, as always ordinary members are welcome for swimming during training sessions, the more the merrier!

2008 will be kicking off with snorkelling in the next couple of weeks, keep an eye out for an email from your weekly snorkel coordinator. Remember, you must be insured before you can get in the water so contact Britta to organise that.  There will be a Refreshers Day in UCD on the 31st of Jan 08, for those who missed us at the sports expo in September, more details to follow (tell all your friends!).
